Could this be allergies?
I have been sick for about 4 days with clogged ears a little bit of a runny nose and a scratchy throat (only at night, and a cough drop cures it instantly), and sometimes I have a cough but not too often, and now today I have absolutely no voice.
I have been taking Sudafed but it doesn't seem to help much, besides making my ears feel a little better.
My friend thinks maybe it is allergies since my throat basically does not hurt at all (and I have had strep before, this isnt that bad at all).... however, it seems more like a cold to me than allergies.
But.. I've never lost my voice like this before either.
So... anyone with allergies have these symptoms before? I'm going to try a Benadryl when my boyfriend brings some home, but I am curious if anyone can say that this sounds like something they had.

The symptoms of allergies and colds overlap. Generally if it disappears in a week, it is a cold. If it ongoing, it is more likely to be allergies.
