Two years, no HIV symptoms, am i safe?!
Question:
Two years, no HIV symptoms, am i safe?
I may have been exposed to HIV two years ago when I shared a tattooing needle with someone who was HIV+.
It's been two years and i have been healthy. i also smoke and drink often as well as work 40 hours a week.
would i have experienced syptoms by now, especially since i engage in so many activities which would lower my immune system anyway?
Answers:
HIV can remain dormant for many years. Although sharing a needle with someone who is infected does not mean that you definately have the virus, it indicates that there is a very high chance that you have HIV. Get tested now!!! If you test negative, you can stop worrying. If you test positive, you can start treatment earlier and more effectively.
