Slight hearing impairment?!

Question: Slight hearing impairment!?
When I was a child I had countless ear infections, however my hearing remained normal!. Then, once in June of 8th grade I got hit in the jaw with a socer ball, and soon experiences temporary hearing loss in my left ear, then again in Septmber 9th grade I got hit in the jaw with a soccer ball, only this time the hearing loss later about two weeks!. Ever since then the hearing in my left ear has been sort of bad, but not terrible!. Hearing a conversation in a crowded room is difficult though, and so is hearing extremely high/low noises!. What could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Time to go see an ENT and audiologist!. Sounds like you could have damaged something in your middle ear or outer ear system!. It is unlikely you've damaged your cochlea, but the jaw is very close to your outer ear, so my guess is something there!. You need to get your hearing tested, see how that comes out!.!.!. and if it's a conductive loss (usually a middle ear problem), you'll need a CT to see what's going on in there!.

Most conductive hearing losses can be improved or cured by an ENT or surgeon!. It's definitely something to get on now!.!. especially if you can tell you've got a hearing loss!. You're too young to not get it fixed!. I'd get on it ASAP!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Damaged cilia in your ear!. About the only "cure", if it doesn't heal itself, is a hearing aid!. (It's not so bad - I wear two!. If not for them I'd miss most conversation in noisy or "echoey" situations!. The hearing in one ear actually isn't that bad, but there's quite a difference between wearing one and wearing two!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
