I don't know what to think? Could I be really sick?!

Question: I don't know what to think!? Could I be really sick!?
I'm 30 years old and I'm having my gallbladder removed in a few weeks ( I have stones) during an ultrasound of my gallbladder it showed that I have a mildly enlarged liver!. My doctor ordered blood tests (one was a liver function test) It came back fine except for a very weak positive of anti-smooth muscle antibodies!. He said that it is Autoimmune hepatitis!. He is going to do a liver biopsy while he removes my gallbladder!. Should I be concerned!? Could I have a serious disease like hepatitis C!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would wait and see what the test results are!.
There is different things that can cause a
liver enlargement: alcohol consumption,
medication toxification, chemical exposure,
biliary problems where there are stones or
obstruction, twisting of the bile ducts or
malformation of them, fatty liver disease,
hereditary conditions, viral causes like
Hepatitis A,B, or C, mushroom poisoning,
Auto immune disease like biliary cirrhosis or
sclerosing cholangitis and others, and there
are other causes also

Let me explain something here>
Hepatitis means inflammation in the liver!.
Hepato means liver and itis means
inflammation!. This can be caused by
any of those things mentioned above!.
When someone says Hepatitis!.!.!.they
tend to think that it is the virus kinds which is
only one of the reasons for the liver to
have inflammation!. As you can see, there
are many others!.

Auto immune means that the immune system
of the body is not fighting an outside invader
coming into the body!.!.!.!.such as bacteria or
a virus!.!.!.it means the body is fighting something
in their own body!. Each of our cells are marked
as special to our own body!.!.!.sometimes,
however, this marker isn't clear to the immune
system, and it attacks the cells in our own body
just as it would if something outside had
entered in!. This should not be but it happens!.

No one test is 100% accurate!. It take more
than one to determine the accuracy of any
blood work!. However, a biopsy is the
very best test to see what is going on with
the liver!. That is because they are looking
directly at a sample of the tissue of the
liver and not just films of it!.

I know it is hard to wait for the results of
the tests to see what may be wrong!.
Usually a problem with the liver shows up
first as inflammmation of the liver cells!.!.!.
which you say that it already has!. If
the cause is found and it can be stopped
and the doctor treated the inflammation of
the cells with medication!.!.!.!.the liver cells
may heal and the condition will be reversed!.
It depends on whether the doctor can get
it under control and what caused it!.
If the inflammation cannot be treated and
the cause removed, then it can progress and
cause the liver even more problems with the
possibility of the liver cells dying off!.

I hope this helps you understand more!.!.!.
It could be that after you have your
gallbladder out and the stones no longer can
move into the ducts!.!.!.that this might be all that
is needed!. I sure hope that is the case for you!.
Best Wishes!.!.!.
