I have a raspy voice. Could there be something wrong?!


Question: I have a raspy voice!. Could there be something wrong!?
It's not dude-like raspy or anything, just kinda!.!.!.ew!. The best I can describe it is sounding similar to Lindsay Lohan or Rachel Ray lol! In fact, my voice is raspy enough to keep me from being able to scream!.

I think I may have damaged my vocal cords over time as I sang all kinds of -ahem- 'unique' music!. Should I visit a doctor or live with it!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd go see an ENT!. If it's something like nodules or polyps, it can be fixed!. If it's something else, you still may be able to fix it!.!. but that will be the job of a speech pathologist that specializes in voice disorders!. It's definitely worth checking into!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
