MONO HELP!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?...

Question: MONO HELP!!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?
I just found out my best friend has mono!. I'm always around her, share drinks with her, and she spends the night at my house, meaning 2 times a week *the weekends* we share a room!. My other best friend and I are worried we may have contracted it!. Is there any way to build up our immune systems to try and fight it if/before we get it!? Any good foods/drinks to get!? THANKS!

If you have shared a drink with her already, I would focus on getting prepared to be sick!. Mono can be pretty nasty, trust me!.

Mononucleosis usually sets on pretty fast, unlike a cold or the flu, which needs several days of incubation!. If she just got this recently, and you haven't shared anything with her in over a week, I would say that you're pretty safe!.

The only other thing I can recommend is to get PLENTY of sleep!. A pill that I might suggest is "Colostrum!." It is powdered cow milk, completely unpasturized!. It really works miracles!.

Good luck to you and your friend! :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you have been exposed but, that doesn't mean you will definitely come down with it!. Some people are naturally immune!. And some people have had it as children and never knew it!. Children tend to get very mild symptoms and everyone just thinks they have a cold!.

The only thing you can do is eat good foods and get enough sleep!.

If you do get it, one thing that will prolong it, is drinking alcohol!. During mono, your liver gets inflamed so it's not a good idea to make it work harder by drinking alcohol!.

Mono is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus and is contagious to a degree but not like a cold or the flu!. That being said, when my sister came down with mono and my daughter years later, I had eaten and drunk after them, was around them all the time and never got mono myself!. I have known several other people that had loved ones with mono and never got the disease themselves!. Don't obsess about it, if it happens, it happens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope!. If you're infected, it's done!. Your body will fight it off!.!.!. but the incubation period is 4-6 weeks, so you may not even get symptoms for over a month!. Sorry!.!.!. it's a virus that's going to kick your butt no matter what!. Takes 1-2+ months to get over!.!.!. just eat healthy, get sleep and hopefully it won't be that bad for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
