I have a white spot on the inside of my lower lip. it's quite red and vainy-HURTS. I was wondering what it was
It's only been there for about two days and I was getting concerned, I've never had anything like this. I asked my family and nobody seems to know what it is at all. I'm only 16 years old and I'm a little scared, to be honest. -I haven't had any sexual contact, by the way. Anyways, thanks for the help.. If I get any!

My guess is a canker sore, but if that's the case, it's kinda weird that no one in your family knew what it was...
Canker sores are pretty common, but if this is your first one, then it might be a little scary to you. There are other kinds of sores that it could be, but those generally occur outside of the mouth, so it's probably a canker sore.

If you click on canker sores, it will show you a picture of what they look like and you can compare them with the sore in your mouth.
If it is a canker sore, you can get some numbing cream at any drug store to help deal with the pain, but either way it will go away within a few more days... If it gets unbearable or if you get them constantly after this, there is prescription medicine available through your doctor which helps to clear them up faster. If it's not a canker sore, look more at that yahoo site to try to figure out what it could be.
