Why would anyone all of the sudden start slurring and barely able to speak and lab results show normal?
symtoms are sweating, slurring of words, vertigo to name a few. she can't remember names but her mom's name. she seems like she wants to say words but usually nods. she will speak to her mom, but like a little kid. she is 21 yrs old.

It would depend on what kind of tests they were running. If they were checking for the wrong thing it could come back normal. The obvious thing to check for would be a stroke, but something like hypoglycemia could present the same symptoms. Has she regained her normal abilities since the episode or is she still in the childlike state? If she is back to normal, it could have been low blood sugar. Is she eating regularly or is she doing any kind of extreme dieting? Check out the website below and if it seems like what she is experiencing have her request a blood test.
