Ok complicated STD question.?!

Question: Ok complicated STD question!.!?
Ok hypothetically!.

What if 2 virgins have sex!. The girl and the guy are both virgins!

Is it possible to still get an STD!?

(And they used protection!.!.!.this is all hypothetical)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yup, still possible!. Although its very unlikely!.!.!.

Everyone here who is saying it is impossible is completely wrong!.!.!. It is possible, don't be ignorant!.!.!. I'm not saying that it is likely, I'm just saying its not impossible!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it is not!. An STD is a sexually transmitted disease !. If neither has had sex before then neither has had an opportunity to get anything to pass to each each other!. If you want to split hairs, you could argue that one of them could have had close sexual contact before and picked up something like pubic lice which is the one STD you can get without actual sex but even that is unlikely and of course there are some STD's you can pick up with oral sex!. You could also argue that one of them could have been infected with aids or HIV from another route other than sex but again kind of unlikely!. Of course if they used the protection then that again limits the likelihood!. Strange question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can be born with an STD, but it always comes from the parents!.

They have to tell you if you have one!.

hypothetically speaking no it isn't possible, but you could get one depending where you had sex (bathrooms stalls can have Hepatitis live on the toilet seat for weeks, for example)!.

Protection doesn't always work too!. The HIV Virus can go through a condom but it usually takes 25-30 minutes before that happens!. No sex is actually safe sex!.

If they had 2 lip rings its still possible but usually that's if the professionally doesn't change out the piercers!.

NO its not likely that you could get an STD!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it is still possible!. If one of the two virgins has received oral sex, or any type of sexual contact with another human, there is a chance they can have some sort of STD!.

Even if they have had no sort of physical contact, there is a number of diseases that they could have gotten from their mother during birth/development!.

Although what I have just said may seem bad, the chances are actually extremely low!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it is completely 100% impossible!.

Ok, as others have pointed out, hypothetically it could be possible if one of the people had contracted a disease via a blood transfusion, needle-sharing, etc!. But it is SO unlikely that it would be the equivalent of being struck by lightening or winning (in this case losing) the lottery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. I learned in my health class that STD's can be transferred without actually having intercourse!.

BUT since you said that they use protection, it is STILL possible because there can be 'misuse' of such product!.

HOW can a virgin have an STD!? It is very rare, but STD's like Hepatitis C or Herpes can be transferred simply through direct or indirect contact!.

Indirect contact is when someone with the disease touches it with an object!. And then a virgin would happen to touch it himself!.

Using protection DOES extremely lower chances of getting STD's so you should always use them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. Even though they are vigins, if one of them has a cold sore or mouth blister it is possible it can be a type of herpes, and they can transfer that to the other person through oral sex, giving their partener genital herpes!.!.!. it is possible I have an ex-friend have it happen to her the same way, even though both of them weren't virgins the only culprit was a mouth sore!. very nasty!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, not unless one of their parents had AIDS or something and thus that person has had it from birth, or maybe a blood transfusion!. But, as you are likely thinking, an STD cannot simply be 'created' from sex!. I actually used to kinda think that, too - I thought that STDs like AIDS just popped up!. But no!.

And what would liprings matter!? Do you know what the chances of getting an STD from getting professionally done liprings are!? They're very, very low!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it is possible:

First, "protection" can fail!.

Second, STD's can be acquired through non-sexual intimate contact, transmitted from mother to child at birth, or as someone else already mentioned, via blood transfusion!. Better safe than sorry!. !. !. Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah its posible becouse people actully gender that from ther parents or a blood tranfusion but not likely blood tranfusion and whear a condom for the first time if your not sure on him trust me not everyone says the truth bouth their sexualitty youl know while having sex if he does alot of expert things then he wasnt a virgin trust on this one im a guy and i know how we thinkWww@Answer-Health@Com

If the girl or guy had genital to genital contact with someone who had herpes or genital warts then it would in fact be possible to get an STD, even with the use of protection!. It is always best to get all partners in a relationship tested before any sexual activity!Www@Answer-Health@Com

In reality (not hypothetical) a person could still carry SOME stds, such as HIV and herpes!. But, there is a slim chance of transmitting it through intercourse if you have a condom on!. It all depends!.!.!.
Also, people lie about being virgins!.!.!.
Be safe!. Use protection!.!.!.and make wise decisions!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well no!.

but it is possible that one of them is lying!.

a lot of people do that!.!.!.thats why its smart to use protection!.!.!.
even if they both are virgins!.!.!.you could still get the worst STD of all!.!.!.
PREGNANCY!.

but your chance of STDs with protection is virtually nonexistant!.

(except LOL CRABS)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sure!. One of them could have contracted HIV through oral or anal sex first, and then passed it on through vaginal intercourse!. With protection - risk is low!. But it depends on what you define as "virgin"!.!.!.the term seems to be pretty convoluted these days!.

My butt itches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I asked my therapist this question once, but he didn't give me a straightforward answer!.

I think it is possible because bodily fluids are exchanging, and if one person's body can't fight off any infections you could get sick, but I'm not sure about an STD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Someone has to have it in order to give it to someone else!.
If neither person has anything, how on earth could the other get it!?
Your question is completely illogical!. STDs don't come out of thin air!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can get an STD in your mouth if one has given a ******** to someone with an STD!.!. and may have given it to the other person!.!.!.!.

but other than that no, its not possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aids is a STD but can also be caught by blood transfusion!. Just because the person is a virgin doesn't necessarily mean he/she doesn't have an std!. Although it is very very unlikely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can never be sure if one or both are really virgins!. Protection--condoms, can always break!. Happens alll the time!. Best to get tested and not to spread disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, one of them could have been exposed by an STD by contact through other ways!. Sometimes baby's are born with herpes because their moms have herpes(just saying)!. So hypotheically yes they can, most likely they wont!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only if one of them had gotten an STD from sharing needles or something like that or was born with one!. Other than that, no!.

EDIT: No, professionally done piercings wouldn't give you an STD either!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, but not until either of them contract it from having sex with someone who has an STD, so if they have sex with each other (both virgins) and neither has an STD, they can't get one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have wanted to know that too! please someonne answer mine!? I NEED HELP
http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index;!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's very very very very very very very very unlikely!.

But it could still happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep!. Still possible!. Some STDs can be transmitted through "swapping spit" and so yep!. And if it's AIDS kind of thing, they'd get it from their parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes its possible!. you can pass oral herpes through kissing!. and it doesnt have to be a "french" kiss either!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol welll suppose if they had aids from blood to blood contact herpes can be spread other than sexual itercourse!. crabs can be caught from toilet seats if the temp!. is right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you used protection then you would be safe from an STD!. However it doesn't matter if you are both virgins!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

anything is possible!. it's not very likely but it happensWww@Answer-Health@Com

its possible, the chances are next to zero but it could happenWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should be okWww@Answer-Health@Com
