Can you get a chemical peel places other then your face?!

Question:

Can you get a chemical peel places other then your face?

I have wierd bumps on my arm. It's not an alergic reaction. I went to a dermatoligist a long time ago, and they said it was dry skin, but it can't be. It's not acne (I don't think) but its slightly red, and bumpy.

I've been thinking about going back to the dermotoligist, but I don't want the same crappy story. I was wondering if anyone had any idea's. Would a chemical peel fix this?

Answers:

If you go to see the dermatologist again, see a different one. Show this to several nurses, and get their opinions. I find nurses are more practical and take more time to help you.
Yes, a chemical peel can be done other places, check around and be careful, get someone trained and experienced, and explain what and why you want it.
Use a lotion with healing in the name. I'd try Gold Bond on it, if I were you.
Also, try changing soaps--or just wash that area with warm water two or three times a day, and no soap at all. If you just gotta have soap-try a facial soap, a really gentle non-allergenic moisturizing one.
Drink plenty of water, take your vitamins, exercise, eat your veggies, etc. All healthy stuff is good for your skin, especially plenty of water.
Live well, do good and love deep!
