antibiotics aren't always used to treat ear infections!. they're not always necessary and overuse/ misuse of antibiotics creates resistant strains of bacteria that are harder to treat in the future!. your doctor must not have thought it was serious enough to justify the use of antibiotics!. sometimes ear infections are caused by viral infections which antibiotics won't work on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Perhaps your doctor thought that your ear infection was caused by a virus, in which case antibiotics are not going to do much good!.
Or that the infection was mild enough that your own natural defenses would be able to fight the infection!.
I think that the medical community is trying very hard not to "over prescribe" antibiotics as they did in that past!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes it's best to let nature run it's course!. Overuse of antibiotics can cause resistance which leads to problems when you really need them!. I've included a link below for more information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
