Answers:

There are some really good support groups both online and in or near your community. A diagnosis like this can be very hard to deal with both for you and for those around you. People don't always know what to say so they may just say nothing at all which could make you even more upset or nervous about the situation which is why it is a good idea to get to know others that have been through what you are going through. My best advise to you is to sit down alone and really contemplate and CHOOSE how you intend on handling this news and your life from this moment forward. You can without a doubt be your own greatest positive force or go the total other direction with your feelings. It's hard to hear constantly from those who have no idea what you are facing to be positive and stay positive and so on but as a breast cancer survivor myself, if you can get yourself in the frame of mind (and believe me it takes work and there will still be some pitfalls) to be positive and rational and in control of the cancer instead of the cancer controlling you then you will get through this and will be a complete and total inspiration for those around you. It's a long hard road ahead of you but if you believe that you are strong and make others around you see that you are strong then you will get through every bit of this and be better for it. Big Hugs to you. It won't be easy but you will be fine. Try to find the silver lining in every thing no matter how bad it gets.
