Very possible!. Blood type is determined by allele pairs!. You've got the B-O pair, and you wife has the A-O pair!. Since O is recessive, neither of you have that blood-type, but you son got an O from each of you and ended up with O+ blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Blood group O (or blood group zero in some countries) individuals do not have either A or B antigens on the surface of their RBCs, but their blood serum contains IgM anti-A antibodies and anti-B antibodies against the A and B blood group antigens!.
