Tonsillitis and Medication?!

Question: Tonsillitis and Medication!?
I have acute tonsillitis and I was prescribed Erythromycin because I am allergic to Penicillin, After 1 day of taking Erythromycin I have discovered that Erythromycin causes me to have severe nausea, dizziness and stomach cramps!. I am pretty turned of with this medication as I am feeling really ill!. Does anyone know anything else I can take or do, to get rid of my tonsillitis as I don't think I will last much longer on Erythromycin!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Call the doctor who gave you the Erythromycin and they should be able to tell you what to do for your reaction (you might need to eat something before taking the medication) or they will prescribe something else!.

Do not stop taking medication unless the doctor tells you to!.!.!.you will only get worse, and you can't just get rid of tonsillitis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
