Question: What does a weak positive of anti-smooth muscle antibodies mean!?
I went to my doctor for gallstones and during an ultrasound it showed that my liver is mildly enlarged!. I had a liver function test completed and everything came back ok except for a weak positive of anti-smooth muscle tissue!. Does this mean I could have hepatitis c!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO it doesn't mean Hep C!. Some autoimmune diseases have very positive tests for anti-smooth muscle Abs!. Your test doesn't mean much and don't worry about it, especially if you don't have any other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
