Please answer only if you do not have Genital Herpes!. Thank you!.

Let's say you met an amazing person who for the most part (no one is perfect) encompassed everything that you've been looking for in a partner!. There attractive, understanding, honest, loving, caring and supportive!. One catch is this person has genital herpes!.

Would you give this relationship a chance!.

Would you potentially put yourself at risk of catching an incurable, yet treatable STD!?

You can give the relationship a chance without the sex!. That way you will know each other more!. If you feel that the relationship is going great and you can definitely look past the "imperfection" then I say go for it!. But if you discover that that person is not the person you though he or she was then at least you found that it's not worth risking your health for!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. There are precautions you can take to protect yourself- and according to recent studies, just about every person who has sex with more then one person has contracted an STD!. Think about it- how many people do you know that get cold sores!? That is Herpes!. It can easily me transferred from the mouth to genitalia, with no symptoms present on either partner!. It's amazing how stds work!. If you feel that strongly about a person, give them a chance!. I think I would!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I personally wouldn't, but I have about 2 friends in my circle who have it!. They met some wonderful ppl who were able to over look that!. One of them is actually married and just had a baby and the other is a college student who has been in the relationship about 3 yrs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Absolutely not!.

What will you do if things don't work out!? Worse yet, what will you do if things don't work out and you now have herpes!?

It will be a lot more difficult for you to date, let alone have a relationship!.

Choose wisely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ya, I think I would because there are ways to have that relationship without getting genital herpes, and plus, the person seems good to me and its not easy to find that anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't help who you like, if its a problem to you then don't go there but if you can overcome it then go for it!. There's a lot more worse things to have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. But don't worry, you will find someone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way, it isn't curable Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is treatable but not curable!. There are things one can do to prevent getting genital herpes from their partner!. You should know that herpes can be passed even when condoms are used!. Having herpes in a relationship should not be a deal breaker!.
1!. Do NOT ever have any kind of sex while your partner has an out break!. Wait until it it completely gone before you have sex again!. Herpes is contagious while there are signs of an out break!.
2!. The person who has herpes should be on some kind of suppressive therapy!. This will help reduce and even prevent the number of out breaks your partner has!. It also makes you less likely to get herpes from them!. Your partner should be honest and know what their symptoms are to tell you when they are getting an out break!. I would like them to show some respect and be honest about that at least!.
3!. Herpes can be passed on even when there is no out break but there is a VERY small chance of that happening!. It's even further reduced if they are using some kind of suppressive therapy!.
If control their out breaks under control, were taking good care of them selves and is a good person then I don't why you should not at least give love a chance!. I all ready have genital herpes as does my boy friend, I got them from him!. But If my partner had them and I didn't then I would have a lot to think about, I would take things slowly and would maybe do some research before getting sexually involved with my partner!.
I have oral and genital herpes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
