Well, there actually two parts to this answer!.

First, you need to take a look at what made your sister syncopise!. Did she have a low blood sugar!? Did she have a heart problem!? Did she have some kind of a brain problem!? Unless you can answer it (and sometimes it can be a simple as she's dehydrated), then she should be checked!.

Second, striking her head does not necessarily need a visit to the ER!. If she woke right up, is acting normally, doesn't need stitches, and stays this way, she's probably ok!.

All that being said, she probably should have been checked, more for the syncope!. Hope she does well!.

I fainted twice in one day!. The first time i fell i hit the back of my head!. After walking a few ft i again fainted!. I hit my nose & made a gash!. I was taken to the ER stitched up!. Blood work was drawn, my head was not checked!. I was asked if my head hurt so that they could bring me an ice pack!. So i would say that the reason for fainting is more important than hitting your head!. The skull bone is pretty thick, and for it to crack which can happen is not often!. I have posted a link to help with any of the symptoms associated with a cracked skull!. If she shows any of these signs then I would suggest you take her to the ER!. I hope it all turns out well!.

Yes she should!. Passing out is caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure and needs to be addressed!. She should also be checked for a concussion since she hit her head!.

She should be able to follow your finger with her eyes and her pupils should constrict when you shine a light into them!. If they don't, seek a doctor IMMEDIATELY!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
