my 9 y/o son had his tonsils and adenoids out back in feb 2007 he is complaining of a soar throat and has a fever but no runny nose or cough!. what are the chances its strep again!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you mean they were removed then he may have mono!. a mono test is very simple and easy, i had one yesterday!. all they do is draw a bit of blood!. doesn't hurt a bit!. if he does still have his tonsils and adenoids, check for white pockets and if it is red and inflamed!. go see a doctor and have their opinion on it too!. it may be something bigger like bronchitis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If he begins to not be able to swallow or drink water then he may have strep throat!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
