Answers:
Cause it feels soooo good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's known as 'gate theory'!. The best example of this is when adults tell children they'll stomp on their feet to relieve a headache!. The idea is that you can override one sensation with another, more powerful stimulus!.

When you scratch, you're just filling your nerves with so much stimulus your brain 'forgets' about the itch!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

nerve fibres carrying touch sensations overrides those of pain, itch etc!.!.!.that's why rubbing temporarily decreases pain!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

scratch gives getter pain thn itch n so we forget th pain caused by itch its like maths scratch - itch = feel good factor :) Www@Answer-Health@Com
