No, It cannot be spread!. Cerebral Palsy is nothing more than a neurological disorder which only affects the person who has it!. It is not a viral nor bacterial infection!. Cerebral Palsy is caused by hypoxia (lack of oxygen) in the brain's blood vessels!. This can happen from lung damage, stroke, and/or underdevolped lungs in infants (as was my cause)!. There are many many causes for it, so many that I still do not know all of them!. It is definitely not transferable from one person to another!.

Definitely try to put in for a job at a cerebral palsy center if that is where your heart lies!. You can try UCP or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation!. Go to UCP's website and you will find a list of organizations in your city that focuses on CP!. I do suggest that you do a little bit of research first on it just to get a little more familiar with it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it can't be spread!. Cerebral palsy is caused by abnormal development or damage in one or more parts of the brain that control muscle tone and motor activity (movement)!. This damage can occur early in pregnancy when the brain is just starting to form, during the birth process as the child passes through the birth canal, or after birth in the first few years of life!. In many cases, the exact cause of the brain damage is never known!. In all likelihood, many cases of cerebral palsy are a result of a combination of prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors!.
