I used a bar of soap on my genital area, and i didn't think anything of it at the time!. The person who the soap belongs to has genital herpes!. Can i get it from washing with it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The short answer is no!. You can't get herpes from a toilet seat, sleeping in the bed of someone who has it, or using their soap!. Herpes is a virus!. It doesn't last very long outside the body!. In addition, unless you're creating friction (having sex), you need an open sore - a direct passageway into the body in order to be infected with herpes!. Don't sweat it!. Most likely no, but there is a slim slim chance!. Dont get worried unless you start to break out with blisters!. The chances are so slim that its not worth worrying about!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should go to the doctors and get tested just incase he had an open sore and you had a cut or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
