How long does treated poision ivy take to go away?
i have a bad case of poision ivy and today i went to the er. they gave me a sterioids shot and cream to rub on to heal and treat it. how long will it take for the poison ivy to go away after the medicine today?? also what are some good at-home treatments besides oatmeal, banana peal, dishwashing soap, aloe vera, baking soada and vineger? thanks

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get rid of poison ivy. Use calamine lotion on it and see this site for more tips.
