Question: Can Oral herpes spread to genital herpes just by saliva contact with no direct oral sex!?
I was fingering g/f and got carried away and spat on her for lubrication!. My sore was active, but my sore never touched her directly!. Can she still get a genital infection!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO!. Herpes is passed through skin to skin contact!. Your out break of cold sores (oral herpes) or one that is healing, needs to come into contact with your genitals in order for that to happen!. Herpes is not passed through saliva but through the fluid of an open sore!. Your mouth needs to touch her genitals in order for there to be a better chance of passing herpes on!. Also herpes doesn't like to live on objects or away from the body for more then seconds!.
