1 month ago I had an ear infection, yet still my ear is blocked when its gone, why?

i went to my doctor and he said that nothing was wrong with me, yet i have a infection in my ear one month ago and my left ear is still blocked. i have used ear drops and have cleared the wax, yet its still blocked. I also have tried using hot water, etc. Nothing has helped, and I need an answer to this. My doctor says theres nothing wrong, when there is. Help.

There might be mucus in your ear canal, this usually takes longer to clear than if it was water that was forced in there. You need to go see an ENT(ear nose and throat) specialist/surgeon to check it out.
