at what stage is copd considered end stage and when would you want to end aggressive treatment and provide pallitive care?
Answers:
When the patient is on home oxygen, needs frequent bronchodilator treatments, is in and out of the hospital frequently, and decides he/she doesn't want to do all that anymore.
The patient should decide.
