I found a rx for Valtrex my husband had before we were married. Is it for anything other than herpes??
He says he can't remember why he has that...but I can't find another reason. I have kids, I need to know the truth. Is valtrex used for ANYTHING else?

It can be used for cold sores or shingles (herpes zooster/chicken pox). There is also some other viral illnesses that may be benifitially combated with valtrex. Don't stress it, if its that old and you haven't noticed spots since then you have nothing to worry about. If it was for herpes then he would be getting a renewal ever few months or so.
