Answers:
An enlarged left ventricle is generally either due to cardiomyopathy or valvular heart disease!.
If his enlarged left ventricle is due to any valve disease, then once the underlying valve problem is treated, this generally will sort the problem out!. Sometimes this can be controlled with drug therapy, but often surgery is needed!.
The usual cause of an enlarged left ventricle is cardiomyopathy!. Drugs like diuretics, ACE inhibitors and/or ARB inhibitors and beta blockers are generally first line management!.
This is just general advise, everything really depends on your Fiance's actual underlying cause, other factors and the severity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
