Can constant coughing be a symptom of asthma? ?!
Question: Can constant coughing be a symptom of asthma!? !?
My father has asthma!. It is more obvious in cold weather and it disappeared totally when he lived for 3 years in a country closer to the equator!.
I have started coughing constantly in the last 2 years since I moved from the mild climate of NZ to the colder climate of Canada!.
I was never bothered by this in NZ, because the weather there is mild all year round
I am constantly coughing, and it is worse when I am breathing cold air or drinking cold liquids from the fridge!. I actually do prefer to drink drinks at room temperature!.
I have had 2 wheezing episodes last year (in Canada) where I was unable to breathe after coughing, and could not catch my breath!. I was prescribed a puffer by the doctor!.
Do you think it could be asthma!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like asthma to me!. One of my triggers is laughing - how sad is that right!. But if I laugh a lot for any length of time the coughing kicks up!. Also I usually have a flair in the spring due to allergies and weather changes and it is always accompanied by coughing - like I can't take a breath with out coughing at times!. Usually if it gets that bad for me I need steroids along with my puffer!. Good luck to you I would go to the Doctor and let them listen to your lungs and your cough!. They could also do a spirometer test to check your peak air flow it also helps track your progress or decline in Asthma treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
