Shingles/Postherpetic Neuralgia and MRI?

Will postherpetic neuralgia be visible on an MRI? Will the nerves show any abnormalities? Or none are seen?


Answers:

An Mri is not normally indicated for this and the results can only assist in extreme nerve damage, which is usually not the case.
