I am always dehydrated and am wondering how long it takes to become un-dehydrated!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on too many factors as it could be answered here!.!.!.
your weight, your body mass index, your conditioning, your metabolism, activity level, the outside temperature and humidity, your evaporation factor etc!. etc!.

Usually via the oral route (just drinking water) it will take about half to an hour for water to be absorbed primarily by the intestines (it depends how much else you had to eat prior, and what kind of foods (dry or rather fresh!?)!.

The fastest route to hydration (not un-dehydration!.!.!. ;-P) is accomplished intravenously with normal saline (N!.S!. 0!.9% or sodium chloride)!. Usually a 1000mL (1 liter) bag will get you going rather easily!.

I gather that you won't like starting IV's on yourself, as a thumb of rule, remember that whenever you can produce light to clear urine (once an hour) you're hydrated sufficiently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

also, if you're dehydrated and not hospitalized (LOL IV), it doesn't only mean your body is lacking of water!. It could mean that your body has an imbalance of electrolytes, ie Sodium Chloride (NaCl)!. Without getting too detailed, if you lose electrolytes from your cells to your cell's surrounds (i!.e!. blood), you also lose water because the water follows the high concentration of electrolytes!.

Your body needs these electrolytes to maintain homeostasis (proper body functioning)!. So, if you're feeling dehydrated and water doesn't work, it is best to drink something like gatorade, powerade, vitamin water!. Find something with substance, not just pure water!.

This is why athletes drink sports drinks!. The downside is the high sugar content!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

you might be anemic!.!. low iron will make u severely dehydrated !.!.!.!. get some vitamins and drink gatorade to prevent it, Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's called "rehydrated"!. As long as you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, your body will stay hydrated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you are no longer thirsty!. Your body will tell you!.
