What is turmeric/curcumin cream for?!

Question:

What is turmeric/curcumin cream for?

Answers:

It's a spice you put in food. It is also a spice that is being studied to see if it has any type of benefit for cancer patients. There has not been enough Clinical data yet to determine what if any benefit the curcumin might provide. Remember that so far no one knows how much curcumin might be needed (dosage and length of time) Nor does anyone know the toxicity limit of curcumin (if you take so much daily will it prove toxic and what is that toxicity - some people seem to also have an allergic reaction to too much of the spice. It also does not seem to work well alone . . meaning it seems more effective when used with another agent. Thus, unless you have the correct dosage and are using this with the correct agent . . you're probably wasting your time . . unless you like to eat it, than I'd say go for it. Knowing that you really can't just sprinkle a little on your food . . you would need supplements.

As far as a cream is concerned . . it's used for from everything to burns to anti-aging products . . of course, the key here is . .product. It's sold. These products are big business now because they are being investigated for anti-cancer properties.
