Yes. It's not a pretty way to go. People suffer respiratory distress meaning they can't breath well and they tend to bed bound unable to move because their nervous system shuts down . Very agonizing for the family. I'm a Physical Therapist and I have senn this and other diseases manifest themselves first hand.
