Question: Persistent Chronic Cough - Please help!!!! !?
My Dad has had a chronic cough for over 3 months and its still going!. It hasnt got any other symptoms that point to a condition, except hes wheezing a bit!. He was a moderate smoker!.!.!. But he stopped now about two years ago,
He's gone to two different doctors who have listened to his chest via stethescope and they say theres nothing wrong!.
Hes had a chest x ray which was clear, a blood test which was clear, and a lung capacity test which came back as normal!.
He doesnt have asthma and he doesnt have allergies!. Hes been on antibiotics, nasal spray, an asthma pump with steroids, nexium and cod liver oil!. Nothings working!. Hes not on heart medication either!. And its not gastric reflux!.

chronic cough often is caused by PND (post nasal dripping) so check if he has sinusitis or get it checked by an ENT specialist as PND might be the cause of his cough!.
PND does not stop as we are treating cough and not the root cause!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he hasn't already, he might consider seeing an ENT or respiratory therapist!. THey often catch things that general practitioners don'tWww@Answer-Health@Com
