Question about HIV/AIDS?!

Question: Question about HIV/AIDS!?
OK dont laugh at me but I'm worried!. My only risk of exposure to hiv was about 4 years ago!. Last week I had a hospital blood test which took a week to get the result (not a 30 min mouth swab or anything)!. And it tested negative!.

what I want to know is, is it possible that the hiv could have gone undetected after a 4 year window period!.

I know I might be being over worried about this but it's a serious issue!. What do you think the likelihood of me having a false-negative test would have been after 4 years!.

Thankyou xWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is no way that the test result could be a false negative after 4 years!. After that amount of time, the result is a true negative!.

If you tested negative more than 6 months after your possible exposure, you are fine!. More than 98% of people who have HIV will test positive within 3 months!. In very rare cases, it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive!.

If you tested positive 4 years after your possible exposure, you are FINE!. There is no way that it would take that long for the antibodies to show up on the test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some std's can take up to 6 years before they even show any symptoms in the body!. if it has been 4 years!! and you are fine i wouldn't sweat it, however i would still take a hiv test just to be safe and put my mind at rest!. You never know!. Better safe then sorry bro!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. You're fine!. It would show up in a test a couple months after the exposure to infection!. Seeing as how that was 4 years ago and you tested negative, you're fine!. Don't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, your fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
