Skin cancer: how do I avoid it, and how do I know if I have it?!

Question:

Skin cancer: how do I avoid it, and how do I know if I have it?

How am I supposed to know if I have skin cancer? I have heard alot of things, but I really would like to have one answer so i know what to do, or what not to do to avoid it. And how am I going to spot it if I do have it?

Answers:

The best way to avoid sun cancer is the use of sunblocks. Make sure that the label says that it blocks UVA and UVB rays. You should use a sunblock with at least 30 spf and reapply about once every four hours. Obviously, you should avoid laying out in the sun or tanning.

Skin cancer appears in the form of moles. The ABCDE rule is a good basis to start from. If you see any suspicious looking marks you should visit a dermatologist ASAP. THis website explains how to check for skin cancer.
