Question: What in red wine causes skin blemishes!?
Everytime I drink a glass of red wine I get a blemish the next morning!. I'm in my early thirties, so it's not normal acne!. Any idea!?

You may have rosacea -- sometimes mistakenly called "adult acne" because it is so common among those in their 30s!. If you also experience flushing/blushing, have very sensitive skin, and possibly "spider veins" on the face along with a burning or stinging sensation when you use certain irritating skincare products, then it sounds almost definitely like rosacea!. Certain natural chemicals in chocolate and red wines are common causes for flares of rosacea!.
