Depressed and not eating, i hate sounding like this but..?!


Question:

Depressed and not eating, i hate sounding like this but..?

lately i have been very depressed with wondering about where i will be in a few years/college and everyone is misinterpreting everything i say. Everyone is ganging up on me. There is also SO much stress at my house with family, i feel like i can't talk to anyone because they are just going to snap at me.


So, basically i have been so depressed lately that i can't eat. however i am not hungry?? but i can tell im starving and every time i eat i feel sick. I've also been sleeping a lot as well.

I just don't know what to do anymore. (totally not trying to make that sound suicidal)

whats up with depression and not eating? How can i over come my depression?

Well, hi there honey. I have to say that depression is repressed anger, so you need to figure out what you are angry about, then you need to look at what you're afraid of, which is what is under that fury. After you figure all of this out, the best thing I can tell you is that you have too much time to think about what is going on with you. You need to spend some time out doors, it's hard to be depressed when the sun is shining on you. Also, find a place in your town where you can donate some time and help others. You'll see in no time that your problems aren't near as bad as theirs and your spirits will lift. You'll put your difficulties into perspective and you'll be doing some good for others. And - that, my dear friend - is irreplaceable!

You'll find that your appetite increases with physical activity and sunshine, and make sure that you eat lots of veggies and whole grains and stay away from sugar. Sugar is the enemy to our greatest happiness because it wears out the immune system and causes our bodies to produce too many endorphins which in turn gives us the crash and burn syndrome after we feel the high of our endorphins.
