Question: What is the normal level of creatinine in the blood!? What would be the effect if is high!? or less!?
I have been told by my cardiologist that my creatinine level is high at 1!.2 He says that in order to bring it down I should drink more fluids or plenty of pure water!. Is this diagnosis is correct!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Well, 1!.2 is not really high!. At my facility they consider anything over 1!.5 to be high!. But, the reason he is telling you to drink fluids is because you may have been dehydrated at the time which would make your creatinine high!. Your creatinine is a level in your kidneys that can show kidney function!. If it is too high then your kidney's are not functioning properly!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
