My armpit is swollen and itchy dont know what it is? my theory is fungi but i dont know. anyone?

i am male 28 years old. leave in tropical country so i sweat a lot especially this summer season. one day my right arm pit was itchy but didnt paid attention to it till i saw it grew, swollen red and itchy. i put some ointment but didnt work and now my left arm pit is infected with the same thing. really worried..i think this could be a fungi or something. currently using an anti-bacteria-anti-fungal cream right now. hope any one can explain this stuff to me further. thanks.

Sweat glands could be plugged, swollen, infected or just inflamed for some reason. Possibly fungal. I wouldn't worry too much unless the pain gets unbearable or you see some kind of discharge or discoloration.
