What do they do to test 4 TB? Is it painful? Help Me!!!
Answers:
It's not painful at all! All they do is slip a small needle under the top layer of your skin, inject a liquid to form a little ball underneath that layer, and they're finished. They'll have you come back in a day or so, so that they can check the spot for any type of reaction signalling that you have TB, and you'll be finished. The needle itself really doesn't hurt at all because it's not going into a muscle or anything, just going into one layer of skin, and they put it in horizontally so they aren't just jabbing you either.
