she is not very well at all is this normal

Hormone replacement therapy is useful in treating the symptoms of menopause. However, it does increase the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks. After 10 yrs the symptoms of menopause should be minimal. Have her talk to her doctor about the risks verses benefits.
