Should I be off school with the flu for much longer?!

Question: Should I be off school with the flu for much longer!?
I've had it since Wednesday, The symptoms are Chesty cough, sneezing, dizziness, blocked nose and occasional vomiting!.
I was off Thursday and Friday!. What about this week!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should stay off until you feel better!.

You cannot learn anything if you feel like crap and you don't want to infect anyone else do you!?

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Colds take 10-14 days to go away!. People usually do not stay home except for the first few days!. An over the counter cough med is all you can do to decrease the coughing - it won't go away until you are well!. Use this consistently every 4 hours!. You need to dramatically increase your water intake and that will help with the dizziness!. It thins the secretions and helps decrease the cough and ear congestion that causes the dizziness!. You could also try a decongestant rather than a cough med and see if that works better!. And, running a humidifier in the bedroom where you sleep will also help decrease the cough and the congestion!. Your parents probably should make the decision as to whether you go to school tomorrow or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its NOT Flu!. You only have the symptoms of a severe cold!.

Cancel the Doctors!. They could be helping people who are actually ill!.

I'm a GP, I can tell you that you don't have flu, If you did you wouldn't be able to write this question!. Also they cant and wont do anything, as there is no cure for a cold no matter how severe, If it is flu, you would be prescribes antibiotics because it is a viral infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends how often you're vomiting!.

There's nothing wrong with going into school if you only have a cough + a blocked nose!. I know they're a pain, but it's not something to stay at home for!.

By the way, you haven't got the flu, you've got the common cold!.
If you have the flu, you'd hardly make it out of bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have food poisiong ( as you know ) and will have to go to school ):
if you still feel extremely ill then its better to stay off!.
As you may know I feel as sick as a pile of dog poop!. It's important for me to go to school as I have exams etc!.

I hope you get better (:
