I have an IR 1250 animas pump and a question for users of this device.?

I have had little problems from wear and tear of my lifestyle to the pump. It is a great aspect of my life and my treating of it might have caused these problems. I am now on my second replacement pump. How many problems have you had with yours and have you had any replacement pumps? (Animas is a great company and has helped tons)

I have an IR 1000 Animas (the model that came out before the 1250). I am very rough on my pump. I'm always bumping into things, dropping it and even falling on it (roller hockey). Despite all this, my pump has not ever stopped working or malfunctioned!
I think Animas pumps are probably the most hearty out there, and if you're beating on your pump to the point you're having multiple replacements, maybe it's time to change the way you carry it.
I carry mine on my belt most of the time. You can by protective covers for it through the Animas website that might help prolong it.
Try to keep in mind how much that little device costs, and what a pain it is to have to replace it too!
