Question: I have a UTI and the Dr put me on antibiotic (macrobid) along with medicine to help with the pain!.!?
I took medicine for the pain, but the back pain on the side is still there!. How long will it take for the antibiotic to work and for me to be out of pain!? I know not today as I only took one pill, but I'm just curious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pain medication that is normally prescribed is an antispasmodic!. It helps with the contractions of the bladder that cause pain!. It may also turn your urine an orange color!. You can take tylenol, 650mg for the pain also!. It normally takes 3 to 4 days to see results, just remember to drink plenty of water and PEE,PEE, PEE, this helps more than you can imagine!.
