Question: Would I have rabies if!.!.!. !?
Would I have rabies if a stray dog (owners not around) kept jumping on me and licking me!? would rabies be an airborne disease and get one me!? or by accidentally getting a little bit of the dog's saliva in my mouth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's true that rabies is transmitted through saliva!. However, if the dog has a current rabies tag, it means that it has been vaccinated against rabies and is immune, therefore it can't give you rabies!.
Just because an animal is friendly does NOT mean that it doesn't have rabies!. There are two different kinds of rabies - 'furious' rabies, where the animal goes crazy biting everything in sight, and 'dumb' rabies, where animals appear to be tame even if they are wild animals!.

Yes rabies is transmitted through saliva, if you start foaming at the mouth (other than brushing your teeth) you should probably see a doctor (or a vet)!.
