Answers:
Depending on your curve, its definitely possible that you'll need treatment later on!.

How many degrees is your curve!? You still have *some* growth left so your curve will most likely get a little worse!. If your curve is over 30 degrees, it will probably continue to slowly increase even when you're done growing!. Because of these things, and because nobody can really predict how fast or even if a curve will increase, its best to monitor your curve as directed!.

On the other hand, since your curve is minor, you may be in good shape!. You'll need to monitor the curve just in case, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bad posture or strain on your back might increase the risk of curvature!. If your muscles get pulled too tight or spend a lot of time in a lopsided position, they may pull your spine out of alignment!.

To prevent this I'd recommend making sure your posture is good, trying to avoid carrying heavy loads with your back on a regular basis (like backpacks with 20 pounds of books aren't good for your back), and seeing a chiropractor who may be able to correct minor muscle and vertebrate disaligments!. Gentle stretches are also a good way to try to keep your spine aligned naturally!.

You may need to get treated at some point, or you may not!. But your chances improve if you take care of your back while it's not a big problem!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have scoliosis and the reason my curve gets worse is because i'm still growing!. but since you're at the end of your growth spurts, you should have not much to worry about!. i would listen to the doctor and get a x-ray because it has a slight chance of getting worse!. if its just a minor curve the worst treatment you'll get is a backbrace!. but i really dont think you'll have much of a problem!.!. my doctor said sit ups help!.

hope this helps!. :DWww@Answer-Health@Com
