My son said his stool was green?!

Question: My son said his stool was green!?
Yesterday and today my son was complaining that his stomach hurt a little and that his stool was green when he went to the bathroom!. He's eating fine but doesn't feel like doing anything!. What could this mean!. We're planning on taking him to the doctor tomorrow to see what it could be but I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas for tonight!. I looked it up on the internet and found out it could mean he has a bacterial infection!. Have you guys ever heard of this!? Thanks, he's 14!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Having green stool means things are passing quickly through your bowels without having time to be fully processed!. It can mean you have a bit of an upset digestive system, but it's not too serious if that's pretty much the only symptom and if he still has a good appetite!. You can usually ignore things like this for up to 2 weeks before seeking a doctor just because everyone gets tummy bugs from time to time and they usually fix themselves up within about a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bacteria is certainly a possibility!. Also an increase in vegetables in his diet can explain for the color of the stool, but that wouldn't cause the stomach pain!. Bacteria seems to fit all the criteria, and if that is the case then the doctor will write a prescription for an anti-biotic and your son will go back to being his normal teenage-self a few days to a week later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Has he had grape drink, or grape kool aid!.!.!.!.This will cause a funny green stool!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could just be a virus going around, check with your doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
