Parents, how many of you know a third chicken pox shot is needed for children over 6 that never had the pox?
I'm just curious to know how many parents were aware of this. Because in NC it seems none of us knew and my youngest daughter, age 8 died from complications due to the pox on Dec.1,2006.Had she been given the booster she'd still be alive...

No, I haven't heard of this. In fact, my children's shots are supposedly up to date; at least in accordance to the so called requirments that I'm aware of. I mean really, who knows what shots are required by heart. Ya just kinda take the word of the doctor that all is well. Thanks for the note and God Bless you!!
