HIV and Band-Aids...?!

Question:

HIV and Band-Aids...?

Hey guys got a question for you. If I stepped on a Band-Aid that was on the ground, and that Band-Aid and HIV infected blood on it, held in the soft fabric part, is it possible for the virus to live on the bottom of my shoe and be spread around my house, like onto the floor and carpeting, and if I was walking around the house barefoot then got into bed, could I transfer any of the blood into my bed? Please help I am freaking out.
Thanks

Answers:

Stop worrying. The blood was most likely dry, especially by the time you got home and besides, HIV can't survive more thana few hours outside the body. It's transmitted blood to blood and by other body fluids but it has to have a way in. Unless you had sex with the bandaid, you have nothing to fear. Please, learn more about this virus and the transmission of it.

Oh no, it's that person again with the ridiculously long response that doesn't answer the question.
