Do I have a frostbite?!
Question: Do I have a frostbite!?
I went skiing on Sunday and the temperature was -40 degrees Celsius with windchill!. The affected area on my cheek is discoloured, turning white!. Initially, it looked like a mosquitoe bite but it gradually flattened out to a not-quite -lumpy but not flat state!. Right now, the affected area is a red spot on my face!.
When the area was first affected, there was a huge prickling sensation that was painful but it soon dissipated!. Now it only hurts if I rub on it!. I did put aloe gel on it the first day but I thought it might go away the next day!. That didn't happen and now it's been four days!.

You may have gotten lucky and it is only slightly frozen, if not it takes about a week for it to turn black or blue, then it can take up to a month for it to regrow underneath and the dead flesh to start coming off, I had it on my toes from too tight ski boots and it took a couple of months to get back to normal, pretty painful and once you do it the part that was affected does get cold easier than other parts from then on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no!. if you get frostbite the area you got it on is hard and frostbite could have been gone in a shorter period of timeWww@Answer-Health@Com
